WHERE ARE YOU? Please let us know!

We have ONLY email addresses for many on our CIAO list. If you prefer only email contact, please let us know your city/state and your year/semester for future regional “reunion” planning.  To keep costs to a minimum, we use email almost exclusively, but providing us your mailing address and phone number would complete our records should a “snail” mailing be warranted.  We are updating our list now for alumni who have expressed interest in several cities including the Huntsville/Athens, AL area and New York City. Let us know where you are!

Please share the following:

  • Name (include maiden)
  • Cortona Year/Semester
  • University/Institution (if not UGA)
  • Address
  • City/State/Zip
  • Phone

We would also welcome input on the following:

What types of CIAO programming you would find interesting:

  • Faculty Speakers
  • Speakers from Cortona or Italy
  • Alumni Speakers
  • Networking
  • Community Service
  • Student Recruitment/Scholarship
  • Wine/Food
  • Art
  • Art History
  • Art Show
  • Fundraising
  • Purely social

  2. Jean Jones Pinson (Class of 1970) says:

I attended the very first UGA Studies Abroad Program in Cortona in 1970. I have many fond memories of that infamous summer and have kept up with friends Carlo and Patrizia Crivelli since 1970. I returned to Cortona in 1992 with my son, Todd Baker who was a French exchange student that summer. I have numerous photos of our times in Cortona and will never forget Professore Kehoe and his lovely wife and daughters. It was a summer to remember and I would love to reminisce with others who have shared this experience of a lifetime. I taught elementary art and through the years have taught children and adults in my home…I continue to teach my grandchildren which is a joy, in and of itself! I continue to be inspired to paint scenes of Cortona and surrounding Italia.
    Ciao
